Process
Upholstery is a craft, it takes time, accuracy and careful consideration. We will work with you on your project. From armchairs to bespoke banquettes, and ensure every detail is thoughtfully considered before a decision is reached. We can offer consultation, or work to a brief if you have a clear idea of what you want. Our aim is to be flexible around your needs so we can create something beautiful together.
consulation & quotation
We kick thing off with an exchange over the phone or email. This is to get an idea of what you’re project is, what materials you might like to use and what your timeframe is. We only need the basics at this stage, but can go into detail if required. Once we have the information we will draw up an estimate for the work and offer a slot within our schedule that suits your deadline.
Collaboration
Once the job and slot is confirmed in principle, we will send a deposit invoice. This will be between 25-50% depending on the scale of the work and materials required. We can offer further advice and support here when sourcing fabrics, frame-makers and discuss any additional elements not initially covered such as finishing and installation. We will arrange site visits when required to ensure every detail is covered and accurate measurements are taken.
completion & Installation
The final stage of the process is the completion of the job, and installation if required. We will send photos of any work completed in our workshop along with the invoice so you can see the finished piece before it is delivered back to you. For larger bespoke pieces such as headboards, benches and banquettes, we will come to site and install this and ensure this is signed off before we depart.
